    Will html5 cause any compatibility issues with ee2 parsing?

    Hi Sophie,

    You can use whatever markup you wish in your templates.  ExpressionEngine doesn’t care, as far as I’m aware.

    template wise yes but from the database side no i forgot to mention i plan to use the build it editor as well

    I am not sure what you mean. What is the ‘build it editor’?
    Why not from a database side?
    Can you be more specific please?
