Sorry but I can’t find anything about language support in EE2.
The Language Pack page says that, “We are not accepting new translation offers because
we’re changing the way Language Pack production will be handled”. Are Asian language
translations (like Japanese, Chinese and Korean) available for EE2, and has a schedule
or road map been decided for announcing or deciding how Language Pack production will be
    handled in future, please?

Hi, Keith - we’re still working on how to handle the language packs.  That said, you can still create your own language pack using the Translation Utility.  What we are looking at is how we handle community donated language packs.

    Thanks, Lisa.

Does that mean that English is the only language pack provided with EE2, and that either
    * the language packs that individuals contributed for EE1 don’t work with EE2, or
    * they are incomplete (when used with EE2)?

    Hi, KeithW -

English was the only language ever shipped with EE.  That hasn’t changed.

EE 1 language packs will not work with EE 2 - they need to be updated.  The EE 2 packs that are up there are current for the version stated.

    Hope that helps!
