Hi, on a local installation of EE 1.6.8 I am receiving the following error when I go to Publish Tab and try to publish a new entry in one of my weblogs.

MySQL ERROR:

Error Number: 1064

Description: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ‘LIMIT 1’ at line 3

Query: SELECT * FROM exp_weblog_data WHERE entry_id = LIMIT 1

I managed to publish a single entry fine, this error now only appears when I try and add a second entry to the weblog. I have deleted the single entry in the weblog and it now stops me from publishing any new entry. I can publish entries fine in other weblogs.

I am using several extensions including Fieldframe (with NGen file field), Edit Menu.

I would appreciate any assistance, happy to provide any further info if required.

Richard, is it possible to test without the extensions? You’d temporarily disable all of them by clicking the big green button Disable Extensions. This will toggle everything off, but save the settings you used previously.

Hi Sue,

Thanks - looks like it was an extension… I have narrowed it down. I’d just never seen the error before, so wasn’t sure. I’ve contacted the developer about it now, and a fix is on its way.

Richard,

Did you find out what particular extension caused this to happen and what the fix was?

Would love to know which extension it was, as I’m having the same issue but can’t turn the extensions off for an extended period.

Cheers

Moving this to the Extension Technical Assistance forum as it is a confirmed extension generated error.

Hi. Apologies for not replying sooner. The extension was related to the Twobelowzero shopping cart module that I am testing. The problem has been rectified in the latest version.
