    hi all,

I’ve got a strange problem, I cannot not modify my index.php in my control panel (CP Home ›  Templates ›  Edit Template )

I’ve got a error server, “Forbidden : You do not have permission to access the requested file on this server.”
    Does anyone know about this?

    Tons of thanks in advance,

    Regards

    Simon-a,

Are you saving templates as files?

If so, double check the permissions on the folder you are using for saving them to.

What version and build of EE are you using?

    hi John!

Thanks for your answer, but I do not use this option (template file as files)
This error appears when I press the “update” button!

PS: I’m using the build 20090211 of 1.6.7 version.

I am not sure I follow entirely: When you say idnex.php, do you mean the main template in your default template group? Surely you’re not attempting to modify index.php as such?

Also, you might want to upgrade to 1.6.8; it’s recommended for security.
