I’ve poked around a bit at some suggestions for date-based conditionals, but need a bit of help with syntax.

I’d like a conditional that states if the entry is 30 days older than today’s date, then show a custom field.

Is a solution like that possible out of the box (without needing php) and if so, any ideas on how to execute?

Since you’ll need to manipulate a date (add 30 days to the entry date and compare it to the current date) you will need PHP. Or, of course, a plugin. Should still be trivial, though.
