I just launched a new site today: http://www.nywc.com.

I’m having some reports from users that say they can get to some pages, but not to other pages. Most of the time they get a message that the page is not available.

I haven’t been able to replicate this myself, but was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on where I should be looking to address this issue?

My memory_limit is at 32M, and the pages being loaded seem to be loading at 6M, so that shouldn’t be be a problem right?

    Any other thoughts?

Is there some pattern to the pages they can’t access? It sounds like it might be a simple server issue where Apache is unable to handle the load at peak times. Also, what version and build of EE are you on?

    I’m on version 1.6.7, Build 20090211.

It does sound like it’s happening on a lot of random pages.

Definitely sounds like a possible server issue. Does reloading the page in question help? Also, are there any entries in the server logs that could help shedding some light on the issue?

Not sure if this is the solution or not, but most likely. There was a typo in the DNS zone file. It was missing the “c” in .com.

In the next 24hrs I’ll be able to tell if that fixed it or not.

Thanks for the help thinking things through Ingmar!

That could very possibly be the cause.  Please keep us updated!
