EE 2.0 and removing index.php-same methods as are available now?

Hi folks,
does anyone know if with ee 2.0 will we use the same methods available to use now to remove index.php from the urls?

Removing index.php is a server-side method, not an ExpressionEngine method. 2.0 can’t change that. =)
