    Hi All,
Does anyone know of an open source forum software based on CodeIgniter?
I need a quick one that I can adapt easily to my site. I tried Vanilla but it looks like it will take a lot of effort to integrate on my CI-based site.

    Thanks in advance!!

I know leeane is building one: Threadler.

I have built in the past a simple forum but it’s nowhere near ready to be used in a production site. Also, I’m in the process of building a custom forum for my sites but I don’t know if I will release the code (not that I’m against open source but simply because I won’t have time to manage a public project).

You could also look at the expression engine forum althought there is a licence fee (very affordable) and I don’t know how easy it’s to integrate in a custom app built on codeigniter.

If I don’t find anyone quickly, I can use a simple style as in http://www.futoalumni.org/topics

I am going to hope that someone will point me to one ready for use.
    Thanks,
    OJ

This one is very good, I’m trying to use it as a HMVC module: CIBB.

Do you want to build it on CodeIgniter?
I want to build one too, a simple forum which would be a HMVC module.
I got an advice about it, I should have three or four modules.
