I have at least 11 EE licenses and I’m also using Engine Hosting quite a bit now. Do we get both discounts, the hosting discount and our quantity discount? That doesn’t seem to be the case, but my accountant (that’d be me) figures it doesn’t hurt to ask.

And, if not, when I get to 15 licenses (which won’t be long from now), I should not buy my license through Engine Hosting, but through EE because my discount is greater there, correct?

Also, while I’m at it. Does the EE quantity discount count from purchases or existing licenses (i.e. I have some licenses not yet renewed and wondering if those count for the quantity discount)?

Hope I’m not being redundant or posting in the wrong place. I looked around for the answers elsewhere.

The Volume Discount Program from EllisLab and the discount you get from EngineHosting do not stack. Its one or the other, not both.

    Yes.

If its registered to your account, it counts toward your discount. I think that answers your question 😊 If not, let me know.

    Bud,

Actually if its easier for you, you can still order EE licenses through EH just inform our staff in the order comment/instruction box that you qualify for a quantity discount.  I know for some its easier if they are doing billing for a client, need to pay by check or other payment methods, etc.  EH billing department can help with this as well.

    Just as an FYI.

Thanks, Nevin - that’s good to know - and thanks as always for running a great hosting company
