The adventurous triumvirate of Paul, Les, and Rick, taunting death as they plan new ExpressionEngine features.

Great Fun!  I’m originally from West Virginia where we have the New River Gorge.  I haven’t been in years, but it sure was fun back in the day.

Derek didn’t fall in back up the river did he?

Oh, me?  I’m under the boat, holding these jokers afloat!

From the minutes of the meeeting:

“Oh my god, oh my god!”

“Huh, if Rick goes under I get to move up.”

    “Who knew coding was so…wet?!”

“If we survive this, I’m SO asking for a raise.”

“Hey, that rock up ahead reminds me of that bug from the latest build…”

I can’t figure out which one is Rick, the guy at front or back?  Maybe the guy in white shades knew something you guys didn’t… :D

The guy in the back is the guide/park ranger/lifeguard/whatever, I’d say.

In other companies, executives aren’t even allowed to take the same flight for security reasons. Hazardous sports are forbidden for the same reason. And EllisLab? The whole exec board on a death-challenging trip, the technology architect already under the boat ... oh my - I see the boat sinking and with it all the hopes and glories for EE and CI.

Rick, do you even think about your customers and their concerns?  😛

I thought the evil geniuses at EllisLab figured a way to clone Rick… Thanks for bursting by bubble, Ingmar…  😛

Nah, we cloned Paul first.  So there was a Paul coding, a Paul in the boat, and a Paul climbing a nearby mountain as well.  Its all very well planned you see 😉

WTF! I am soooo jealous of you guys. Ya know what I’m gonna quit my day job tomorrow, sell off my start-up business to some enthusiastic venture capitalist, and send in my resume and cover letter to EllisLab like the day after. And you guys better hire me, and I better be able to work my way up the ladder, otherwise I’m gonna tell all your moms that I’ve got a blackmail photo of all of you out having death-defying, dangerous, adventures and trips when you should be having a nice, old-fashion, traditional let’s-have-the-same-boring-ass-executive-meeting-like-we-got-sticks-up-our-asses executive meeting. Ooh ooh, and Rick I’ll tell Derek’s mom that you guys forced him to be under the boat keeping you guys afloat! You guys should all be ashamed of yourselves!

Unfortunately we only made a handful when we went to SXSW a few months ago.  That said, we would like to eventually sell some EE shirts and swag.
