Is it with in EE’s commercial license, for me to create the following setup:

    1. Client is a school association with 12 schools.
    2. Each school with it’s own weblog, and each teacher able to create content for their own classes (categories)
It’s the illusion of 400+ blogs, but controlled at the school level.

It’s not a public blogging service, but an in house multi-user blogging setup for teachers to post homework for all students in their classes.

    Legal? Not legal?
I would think it would be allowable, but thought I’d ask to be sure.
    Thanks.

    Hi, AJP—

This should be fine, for context you might like to look at Rick’s post here which is a very simple and easy clarification on why this is an acceptable use.

It does sound, however, like your best method of moving ahead would be to utilise the Multiple Site Manager, making each school into a Site.

    Gotcha Lisa.

I thought it’d be acceptable use, but checking never hurt anybody.

    Thanks!

I edited my post, so just have a look and consider that.  =)  If you do want further clarification you’re always welcome to send detailed information to sales so that we can give you a more detailed answer.

I’d also been thinking about the Sites module, thanks for the though. 😊

As we’re nearing development time, I’ll probably be back in touch.
