I’m using the 30 day EE hosted package to try and get familiar with EE. One lingering question I have is how do I add the graphics that comprise my site into my CMS? I see that I can cut/paste the HTML and CSS files, but not sure how I add basic images (background images, etc).

    Any ideas?

When you ask ” how do I add the graphics that comprise my site into my CMS,” are you talking about graphics that accompany weblog entries, or graphics that make up the main elements of your site?

I’m referring to the graphics that make up the main elements of my site. I’ve been through the control panel and haven’t seen anything that seems to address this?

FTP them up just like any site.  Adjust paths as needed in templates.

What’s the FTP address? I have the same problem. Thanks for any help.

The problem is I’m using the EE hosted 30 day trial, which didn’t give me access to the ftp info. Unless there’s a way around it?

I checked the “ExpressionEngine 30 Day Hosted Demo” email, there is no ftp information there. Anything I can do? Or is there any solution for trial account? Thanks!

While using the demo, you can just use the file upload that comes with a new entry, then reference the images from that directory.  No you can’t FTP there but this will let you get your images uploaded so that you can work on the design.

FTP access is not available with the Hosted Demo.
