Hi, so I’ve been charged with the task of editing the meta titles and descriptions for a website running ExpressionEngine for the first time, and I’m having trouble with the SEO Lite plugin.
When I go to edit the titles/descriptions, the plugin says that a general title will be displayed if the field is left blank, which is fine, but even when I enter a title, it still seems to pull part of another title from somewhere else. Any ideas as to why? The plugin settings are like this:
<title>{title} {if segment_2 != ''}| {segment_1} | {/if}{site_name}</title>
<meta name='keywords' content='{meta_keywords}' />
<meta name='description' content='{meta_description}' />I’m not sure where the “segments” are coming from either (how would find that information?)
tl;dr - I’m completely lost
