I’ve taken over a website built by someone else, yes always a nightmare, and of course its built in EE.
I am familiar with EE, but naturally as there are several ways, in most cases, of achieving the same thing, the website has been built in a slightly different way than I would choose.
Anyway.
I am creating a ‘Page’ in the ‘Publish Entry’ section, page referring to both a channel and a template.
Simply I can’t go into the ‘Pages’ tabs within the entry edit section and change it from ‘Contact’ which appears to be the default template, to a template called ‘Page’. Please see image.
It simply will not take the change. The whole site is built with ‘Pages’ in this way. I’ve also tried to change this on existing ‘entrys’ but they will not change either.
Please help, my boss will kill me if I don’t work this out, well maybe not kill, but it doesn’t look good. 😊
