We have a client who recently had their hosting platform changed by their provider and the new platform has the Option Strict set on the database server. This is giving issues with posting where fields are reported as not having a default value. We can’t get the server changed to not run with Option Strict and would prefer not to have to move the client’s hosting to a new provider. Is there a way to get round this error message? Here’s a thread where this issue is discussed however we cannot as I say change the Option Strict on the server so what else can we try? Thread
