PHP weirdness?

We’ve just moved a 2.7.3 install to a new server but have found that php buttons are not actioning.

Oddly the new server is running PHP Version 5.3.3 and MySQL 5.1.73 but the wizard thinks the PHP version does not meet the minimum requirements of 5.2.4?????

Also the wizard wants MySQL min 5.0.3 but we have 5.1.73????

The wizard also can’t connect to our db but the install itself can?

Any ideas gratefully listened to!
