All of a sudden whenever I got to my site I don’t get any content. My text, images and basically everything handled by EE doesn’t show. Just my graphics show without the content:  http://www.hdesignonline.com. If you go to my system folder I get these a page full of the following error:

Deprecated: Function eregi() is deprecated in /home/content/n/a/t/nate8684/html/system/db/db.mysql.php on line 342

Any help would be very much appreciated, not even sure where to go from here.

I’m on version 1.6.8, thanks in advance for the help!

Is there anybody still handling this board or am I officially unsupported?

    Hi,

Did your host just upgrade the version of PHP being used? If you’re running an older version of EE, you may want to check out http://ellislab.com/forums/viewthread/224143/

    Hey there nate8684,

kasdesign is on it. You host updated PHP and now version 1.X of ExpressionEngine is not happy.

You will need to have your host either move you to an older server or purchase the next version of ExpressionEngine and upgrade. It’s not pretty when this happens at all. Was there no warning from your host?

    Cheers,

No, no warning at all. That’s a big bummer. so none of the later versions of ee1 will work with newer versions of php.

    Hey nate8684,

No, 1.7.3 will work. Support is going away for 1.X so I like to nudge folks to upgrade to 2.X when possible. But if that is too big of a jump right now, then 1.7.3 will work just fine!

    Cheers,
