I am using a third-party plugin to upload a csv file into my system. Although the plugin usually works fine, I’m finding that the error rate goes way up with larger files.

I understand that the plugin author is responsible for its performance, but I wanted to know if anything about ExpressionEngine’s ability to process 100+ entries in a brief burst of time could be contributing to the error rate. Can you recommend any adjustments that I might be able to make?

There is nothing that would limit 100+ entries in ExpressionEngine. You might check your PHP settings for execute time and file sizes.
