Hi,

I was moving a site from a sub folder into root and I stupidly used search and replace to change links before I synchronized my templates.  As a result I overwrote all my templates. 

Rackspace can rollback the database is there anything else I will need to do to get my templates back?

Actually, I am told by Rackspace that they don’t make a copy of the database but they do have a copy of the files.  So if I have a copy of the the templates as files I should be ok.  Is there anyone who can advise me here so I don’t do any more damage?

I am sorry to hear that.

Rolling back should fix you up if you were saving templates as files. Your search and replace only effected files on the system, not the DB. Any changes since then if written to the DB will of course be lost.

You can always take a back up right now and have a “just in case” backup.
