    Hi,

We have a problem with a blog site that has scheduled posts lined up each day to post at 5am.  However, they are not posting on time and often seem require manually publishing.

I know of one other site that is having this problem.  Is this a documented problem?

I’d love some help working this out, please let me know if you need credentials or have suggestions..

    Thanks!

    Hi Zac,

Have you already ruled out that:

    1. The site’s main localization is set correctly (including daylight savings time check box)

    Admin > Localization

    2. You own member account’s localization setting is set correctly (including daylight savings time check box)

My Account > Personal Settings > Localization Settings

    3. If #1 and #2 above are good, then see if you have a global channel tag query cache set.

Admin > Channel Administration > Global Preferences > Cache Dynamic Channel Queries? (NO)

    4. Finally, see if you have some template caching that might be slowing things down for you.

Hope one of those is the issue. Oh.. and the paid support here will ask you what version of EE you are using to help rule out any known bugs.

    Hey Zac,

Kurt, your awesome man. And yes, what version are you running. 😊

Can you give what Kurt has suggested a try?

    Cheers,

    Hi Guys,

We are using the latest build, but I had Cache Dynamic Channel Entries to YES.  Hopefully switching to NO will solve the problem..

Will keep you post back if it works..

    Thanks!

Actually it looks like Cache Dynamic Entries was already set to NO.

The site is running MSM and the main site was set to YES.  Would that affect it?  I changed it to no incase, but that site does not use future entries.

    Hey Zac,

So you are on version 2.5.2 yes?

I am not sure if that would effect it, I would think not.

Did you try the steps that Kurt laid out? Seems like a timing issue.

    Cheers,
