I’m curious if anyone has Google PageSpeed Service working with Expression Engine. I’m not referring to the Apache mod, but the actual CDN where you have to cname your domain over to Google and they act as a CDN/optimizer by pulling content from an origin domain (link).

The reason I ask is because whenever I try it, I can’t seem to log in to my control panel. It just redirects as if it can’t set the cookie. I’ve tried setting a domain-wide cookie, excluding my admin.php from the optimizations, and turning off “Require IP Address and User Agent for Login?”, but it made no difference.

If other people have it working with EE, at least I’d know the problem is something specific to my setup.

Did you end up getting this set-up?  We modified our session.php to fix the ip_address validation line, which lets you login… but we are still having issues with submissions and Google PageSpeed Service….

Hey what did you change in EE to make it work with PSS and we’re now having submission issues too.

And here’s the fix, login to the app via the www-original.yourdomain.com. We set a rule like this

    RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www-origin.yourdomain.com$
    RewriteRule admin.php(.*)$ http://www-origin.yourdomain.com/admin.php$1 [R=301,NE,L]

It’s working, really your suggestive rule our quite useful and working very well.
