i am try to display members photo on comment but it not work this is my code

{if:else}

and user have photo but on list of comment dose not show it any help

Do you have that code within the required Custom Profile Data Tag?

It needs to be inside that for it to work. Could that be the issue here perhaps?

You do not need the {exp:member:custom_profile_data} tags as it is inside the comment entries tag.

Your code however does work for me on EE2.2.2

What version and build of EE are you using?

Can you confirm that your comment entry tags are not nested in any other tags

Also make sure photos are enabled in your member preferences

i am using v2.2.2 - Build: date 20110801 and i just find out that when user login it dose not show photos on comments when user log out it show user’s comments with photo of user i am using condition

{if logged_in_member_id ==author_id}

I’m having a bit of trouble following you here. Could you please explain the goal you’re looking to achieve, what you tried, what you expected to happen, and what happened instead?

I am try to create simple comments form but when author of Entry is logging in he can not post a comments the Comment FORM will be hide and other login users can not to see comments posted on the entry so all comment will be hide for none author and they just can post the comment ok so this is my code i hope you can understand what i mean when look at my code

If using the Custom Profile Data Tag in its most basic format doesn’t bring back any results for you then could you check to see that as John mentioned above that you do have Photo support turned on in your Member Preferences please.

It might be that you have Avatars turned on (I believe they may be as default) but not photos.
