Hi,

I have recently upgraded to EE 2.1.3 from EE 1.6.7
Everything is working fine except for inserting images into a textarea field.
If I upload and insert then the correct file path is generated. However, if I try to add an existing image from the filemanager then the filename is replaced by “undefined”

Has anyone encountered this issue before?
I am not using any fieldtype addons.

Can you check the permissions on your uploads folder and the new folder inside that called _thumbs have permissions of 777 please?

Hi - We’re having the same issue on a fresh install of 2.1.3 build 20110411 -

All directories have permissions of 0777.

The image gets uploaded, however no image is generated in _thumbs. Additionally, the image often becomes “undefined” when you edit an entry, and it will no longer appear on the front-end.

The file paths for uploading all appear to be correct.

Any ideas? Perhaps a server setting?

I am having this problem too.  Do the individual images need to have 777 permissions or just the directories they are in?

None of my settings were incorrect though, so I’m not sure why this was necessary.
