I’m having the same issues.

email_test.php is working, but sending mails via communicate results in the same error messages as pointed out above. I just called my provider and they reassured, that everything should be working fine, so I guess this has to do something with EE.

What can we do about this?

Did you try sending to the same email name?

Well, I’ve tried it all… sending to the mailing list, sending to several individual recipients… it simply does not work. I have also called my client’s hosting provider, who told me, that everything should be working as expected.

But yesterday I setup a local copy of the site using MAMP and COMMUNICATE is working on the virtual server environment. So, I guess someone wasn’t telling me the truth! 😉

This does sound like a possible server issue, yes. When you enable email debugging in your Communicate tab, what messages are you getting? There also might be some more information to be found in the mail server logs, check with your postmaster.
