I just purchased Wygwam for an EE1 site (running 1.6.9). When I visit CP Home ›  Modules ›  Wygwam I get an error at the top of the page that says “Notice: Undefined index: settings in /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/site_name/system/modules/wygwam/mcp.wygwam.php on line 263”.

When I try to add a new custom field, Wygwam is not listed in the field types drop down.

EDIT: the error occurs because there is no row with class value “wygwam” in the “exp_ff_fieldtypes” table. Did something go wrong with the installation?

How can I resolve this? Hope this is the right subforum.

This appears to be an issue with Wygwam rather than EE as such? Have you sought support from P&T?

I just noticed they have a dedicated support forum so I posted there. Delete / close this thread if needed.

Very good. Please post again in case there’s anything else.
