.htaccess not writable?

Hey gang,

Now that site is live, I want to remove the index.php. It is working now but soon as I type anything that dont exist, a blank page with No input file specified, shows up.

I can confirm on the same server but on a subdomain it was working and still is, all I have done is move servers. I am using Leevis .htaccess generator. Even with all extensions disabled and using the normal way to remove inde.php it is not working.

Also 404’s do not seem to be working unless it has .index.php included.

I’m afraid I’ll have to move this thread as we are unable to support server side rewriting issues officially. Thanks.
