When searching the web I found this to be an issue with ExpressionEngine. Is there a way this can be removed.

Not really as there must be a default template group (and its index template) but you do not have to refer to it - as in your links can use ‘domain.com’ or ‘domain.com/SITE/’ but you can rename this template group to whatever you like. There is a process (using .htaccess)to remove the “index.php” though…

Anyway, I’ve going a bit down under on the EE and after couple of pages (in the book) I got whats it about. Thanks for the reply.

EE is a bit different and unique but the more you get a handle on it the more you will like it.
