To reproduce:
1) Start a new blank template;
2) Enter only a Javascript events reserved word- for example, “onClick”. Case isn’t important. You can enter full script tags and everything, but just the single word is enough.
3) Update the template.
Expected to see:
Successful update, the word displayed.
Actually see:
Browser redirected to http://localhost/removecookies. (Unless I turn webserving on my computer on, this is of course a “cannot connect to server” error page.) Template does NOT update.
Question:
Does EE Core check for JS reserved words and reject them? If so, why, and how can I get round it? If it’s a limitation of Core, will Freelancer licence allow me to enter JS events?
EE Core 1.6.9
Any help gratefully received.
