    I’d say another 18 months and it should be just about dead (IE6)... I can just about cope with IE7 for now lol

    Imagine using IE8, though I have to say it’s a lot better. It didn’t take MS too long to support the Acid 2 test 😛

    Hikrguy, I hope you don’t use tables for layout 😛
    I find it much quicker with CSS then anything else
    Maybe you should try a CSS framework or basic structure templates (such as these)

    Thanks for the link to the templates, although I’m pretty comfortable building sites in css. I admit that I do use tables at least a little bit. It depends a lot on the complexity of the site, but sometimes when you’re pixel pushing and you want it to look just right in as many browsers as possible (including ie6) there’s no better way. There are other times when it really is easier to use basic tables for layout. Of course I use css for everything else - backgrounds, text, etc…

    I’ve had more conversations with css purists than I care to remember, and I know I can never convince them (or you) that it’s ok to use tables here and there, so I won’t even try! 😉
