Hi all - I’m a long time EE user (still running 2.x on two different blogs) and I wanted to create a new test blog in v6 in preparation for upgrades.
When I run the EE wizard, I get a PDO error:
Fatal error: Uncaught exception ‘PDOException’ with message ‘SQLSTATE[28000] [1045] Access denied for user ‘[user]’@’localhost’ (using password: NO)’ in /home/[path]/[domain]/ee_wizard/index.php:254 Stack trace: #0 /home/[path]/[domain]/ee_wizard/index.php(254): PDO->__construct(‘mysql:host=loca…’, ‘[user], ”, Array) #1 /home/[path]/[domain]/ee_wizard/index.php(131): check_db(Array) #2 {main} thrown in /home/[path]/[domain]/ee_wizard/index.php on line 254
I’ve created and recreated the database and user and nothing is working. I’m sure I’m missing something obvious… any suggestions?
Katy, does your database user not have a password? The only time I can replicate the error you’re seeing is when I run the server wizard and leave the password field blank. If this is consistently happening, try debugging by creating a user with a password and testing with that user and password.
The error is the analysis data. You need to change the dot and code. I will give you some samples later. spacebar clicker
