What version of php are you now running and more importantly what version of EE1? That function isn’t used in the latest version of 1.7.3.

I just checked the EE1 changelog and 1.68 build 20090723 (initial release) states:

    Compatible with PHP 5.3.0

So you realistically don’t have many options to run on an older version of php or upgrade to the leatest 1.7.3 version.

Also it won’t give errors on a different browser as presumably you are not logged in as a super admin with that browser. This is actually only a warning and is only displayed to super admins (based on default preferences). The fact the site doesn’t work though is indicative of larger issues that you are only going to be able to solve by using a version that is compatible with your php version.

Just realised you are running core - why not upgrade to core version 2?

Gareth, so you recommend me upgrade? in all ways… so I upgrade to 1.7.3? not 2.x right?

if yes, where can download the 1.7.3?

I cant in my purchases, looks disable, why?

I don’t think you have any option but to upgrade or roll back your PHP version.

You’d have to contact Ellislab about not being able to download it - they have officially discontinued it so that maybe why? They may well be able to get you a copy though.

As you are on core I assume you could always upgrade to EE Core 2. Just be wary of any third party addons you are using that will also have to be upgraded. If everything goes smoothly it is very simple…
