How should affiliate links be formatted?

After you have submitted your affiliate information, take a look at the View Account page. At the bottom will be some example links specific to your account. Use this format to link to either the ExpressionEngine.com site or the Store, where {affiliate} is your affiliate account id or affiliate name:

Main EE Site: http://www.expressionengine.com/index.php?affiliate={affiliate}
EE Store: https://secure.expressionengine.com/index.php?affiliate={affiliate}

Additionally, you can link to specific pages on expressionengine.com by including the path to that page using a variable called page like so:

http://www.expressionengine.com/index.php?affiliate={affiliate}&page=/overview/
http://www.expressionengine.com/index.php?affiliate={affiliate}&page=/forums/
