When I try to import my Moveable Type file, it says that it successfully imported 0 entries

Problem: After running the MT Import Utility, you are presented with a message akin to:

You have successfully completed importing your entries!
Total number of weblog entries entered: 0
Total number of comments entered: 0
Total number of trackbacks entered: 0

Though it is acceptable in Moveable Type for the TITLE field to be optional, this field is required for your files to work with the MT Import utility, so you will need to make sure to export in a way that adds a Title for your entries.

TITLE: 
DATE: 02/18/2006 09:20:00 PM

BODY:
 ...entry body...

Correct:
