By default the photo gallery module generates a template by the name of “category” when a new gallery is created.  This may cause problems if you have the “Category URL Indicator” in the global weblog preferences set to “category.”

If you attempt to change the preferences of the category template in the template group created by the gallery module you will recieve an error “The name you have chosen is a reserved word that can not be used.” This error is caused because the “Category URL indicator” is a reserved word.  You may still use the category name for this template but you will not be able to change the preferences.

One solution is to change the name of the category template.  Make sure you change all of the links that point to this template.
