If you’re commission total reaches $600 within 1 year, you will need to send us a W9 tax form as required by the Federal Government. A W9 form is a fancy way of saying “I don’t owe back taxes, so its okay to send me money.” It is not a contract or an agreement with EllisLab, its simply a notice that you’re on the right side of your taxes.

All payments past $600 will be withheld until we have a W9 on file.
