Need a recommendation for a fairly robust shopping cart for a big client of mine. They will have a merchant vendor account and will need stellar tracking of orders. Anyone with a good experience integrating a shopping cart with EE - you’re feedback/input is most appreciated! Thank you. Also, if you could let me know how much time it takes for a typical integration, that would be great.

I’m currently using foxycart integrated with EE using the FoxEE module. It seems to work quite well so far and integration was fairly straight forward. It allows for tracking of orders as well as many other features.

View the gateway features HERE. There are a lot of options for Shipping, Merchant accounts and personal settings.

Big is a good word, but how big? The best part about the FoxEE/FoxyCart solution is that you are already splitting the load across two servers. So you can get pretty big at very little cost.

In regard to order tracking, there is a lot more we would like to make available to the store owner and we are working towards significant improvements in this area. Many Merchants have taken on the task of offering the necessary accounting information and it is our recommendation that you choose the Merchant that best suits your needs as currently FoxEE offers no export of sales.
