Heh.  I never got a renewal email, but I got about 12 sorry-for-the-duplicates emails.  :P

Ditto - the duplicate apology for the nonexistant duplicates was most amusing

Yeah, I never got the original renewal e-mail, but I did get the “sorry for duplicates” e-mail.

<LOUD ANNOYING BEEEEEPP>

This is a test of the EllisLabs “EE National Broadcast System”, this is only a test.  In the event of a REAL emergency…

Well, at least my television didn’t cut out, no flashing lights on my computer screen.  The music on my streaming internet radio didn’t get temporarily interrupted.  I think the only thing that happened is my SPAM filter kicked in, but other than that.  No biggie.

So where is this EE 2.0 Beta?  At least give us “early adopters” something to chew on.

I was hoping the mass e-mail would be a friendly “Service Announcement” letting me know that EE 2.0 has been released.

That’s okay, I have 12 x 12 = 144 “NP! don’t worry about it!” emails aimed at you.  wink

An eye for an eye.  cool grin

Hmmm… It’s like banging on the bees nest, huh?  No problem, what’s your IP address again?  Let me just add another “rule set” to my SPAM filter.  ;-)

I have over 800+ unread “legitimate” e-mails sitting in my inbox right now, I’ll slowly get to them when I have the time.

Anything with “EE” in the subject line always gets my attention!  It draws me in like a “tractor beam” and I find myself sitting here in the forum scratching my head… dazed and confused, realizing that it was just yet another FALSE ALARM, just a “warning test”.  Just another “cruel joke” by Rick Ellis and his crew, trying to pull my chain and get me excited about the upcoming EE 2.0 release.  I’m beginning to wonder if Rick really even started working on it yet.  It was probably just a cruel joke to get us all excited.  He’s probably sitting at home, enjoying his turkey with his family right now.

This is killing me, it’s Thanksgiving… and I need something to work on!  I need that EE 2.0 Beta.  If Rick doesn’t hurry up with this thing, I’m gonna drive over to his house, bang on his door.  I hope his wife bought a big turkey.  ;-)

It’s Thanksgiving tomorrow, and I sure hope he has room for “one more” at the table.  I’m NOT going to stop bothering him until he gives me that EE 2.0 release!  I’ve been trying to sit quietly, I’ve tried to be patient, but that latest SPAM message (about renewal updates) was enough to draw me back in and get me fired up.

<Getting down on my hands and knees>

Rick, please… give a dog a bone.  Just let me have the EE 2.0 Beta, and let me get started on all this.

Us “early adopters” need something to chew on.

        Thanks,

        Mark
