Would someone be able to confirm (or not) the following statements?
I just want to check.

1. Due to the fact that “Advanced Conditionals are evaluated after all EE tags are parsed”, tags within those advanced conditionals are parsed regardless of whether the condition is met.

2. The above statement does NOT hold true for simple conditionals.
i.e. Tags within a simple conditional are only parsed if the condition is met.

3. Advanced conditionals are conditionals which use: OR, AND, {if:else}, {if:elseif}

Thanks

Yep, that’s confirmed.  So I’m always careful nesting weblog tags in advanced conditionals.  Note- if you embed, though- the embed is processed later, so it won’t run.  OK- 95% certain on that one, but I do believe I’ve tested it out.
