unable to login to control panel

I’ve installed an instance of EE to my localhost Wamp server, but when I try to access the control panel through the system folder, I get the login page but without any formatting. Then when I login it says it doesn’t recognize my login info.

Ok, I answered my own question. I suspect it’s one of the paths in the preferences.
