Thanks Michael for the fast response, but I can’t find the “Do Not Display”. I followed your instructions but there’s no “Do not display”..Below are the screen shots:

Admin Control Panel Screen shot and

Member Account Control Panel Screen Shot

Is it possible that I can set it to my Admin account then all of the members account will not see that EE feature?

Thanks ahead EE Community! wink

First click “customize control panel homepage” - then you’ll see the options to move or display each item.

It’s a per-member setting.

Ooopps! My fault, i think my eyes are not functioning well.(lol) Btw, thanks again michael, this is so amazing! The response here is so quick which motivates me to develop
more…

One more thing, you’ve said that “it’s a per-member setting” is there anyway where I could   disable it in one work? then the whole members-control panel will not see it anymore.(maybe a hack or something?)

I love this community!

There’s no “out of the box” way to do that.

You could write a query that would set it for all existing members but that won’t change the default for new members.

Thanks again michael!

Here’s my scenario why I opted to remove that feature:

First of all, I am not against to that kind of feature. Well, I found it great for me as the admin of the website. But that feature seems not to be working right on the members side.

Of course, on the member-control panel they’ll see this feature “Most Recent Comments/TB”
then a list of post title with a link on it.

Here’s my problem: As I logged in as a member then when I click on the post title link, it will open a new page with a message of “You are not authorized to access this page” instead of displaying the content of that specific page…And I think that’s not a good idea to make it visible to member-control panel…though member can make disable it, but most of them don’t want to spend time just to disable it or worst some members don’t know how….

and that’s the reason why..Please help to fix this problem, I have no place to go or someone to ask except to this very EE Forum..

Thanks ahead and God Bless!

What are your settings under:

Admin ›  Members and Groups ›  Member Groups ›  Edit Member Group › Comment Administration

For the member group in question?

I just looked on my own install, and when logged in as a member of a group with limited access to the site, that area of the CP home page didn’t have any links.

For that member group I have all settings set to “no” under Comment Administration.
