The Victorious Opposition is a multi-author blog, primarily driven by political debate, but covering a wide variety of topics. We come from diverse backgrounds, and represent a diversity of opinion.

I was invited to be a co-author on this new blog a little more than a month ago, and fairly quickly launched into getting the site SEO-friendly and more functional. I just completed a complete site redesign, with a rebuild of the entire template structure and CSS to give a 3-column fluid “CSS holy grail” layout making use of embedded templates for repeated page elements. We launched the new site Monday morning, to good feedback from our members.

I’m not opposed to ads, but to have the top left first element be an ad is a bit much.

The colors are a bit less than exciting.
