I am just starting to build a site in EE. So far I only have an index and a css file.
I created a new group and named my css file site_css. What happens now is that the old site, the default that was on there, seems to be using my new css file, even though it is in a different group. Is the name site_css a default? I tried to rename it, but that did not seem to change the issue. What am I doing wrong?

what path is the index file using to call the css? And no, site_css isn’t any default i’m aware of. Did you set your new group as the default group by accident when you created it? (you can tell by the *asterisk next to the group name)

I am calling my css like this:
<link href=”{path=site/site_css}” rel=“stylesheet” type=“text/css” />

and the old default site is still the default group and has the * next to it.

I also looked at the old css file and it still has the right css from before in it.
