Hi All,

Having a problem with an implementation of EE I’m working on at the moment (1.6.4).

I have created a new Member Group called ‘CMS Users’ which I am creating new members into.

These new users have restricted access to the CP, as such can only edit and post into weblogs and the Images Gallery module - everything else is disabled.

However, In every category other than the default_weblog category, when they edit existing entries and save, it is setting the status to ‘closed’ and they do not have the ‘open’ option to change it.

Likewise, when they publish a new entry, they cannot set the entry as ‘open’...

I’ve checked every bit of permission I can find, but have no idea what the problem could be…

Can anyone help please?

I’ll bet if you check the value of Status for the weblog, it’s saying None instead of Default Status Group.
