How to get rss to work

Ive read the documentation at http://expressionengine.com/docs/modules/rss/index.html but cant seem to get this to work. I am totally lost on where I should put the following tags:

{exp:rss:feed}

{/exp:rss:feed} 

Anyone know how to get this to work?

Would have been nice if the manual had a few examples on this..

Have you looked at the default RSS templates? http://expressionengine.com/templates/source/category/feeds/

Ok im using the template at the above web site. How do I have an active link to the rss feed so users can click on it to start subsribing?

Got it. Used: <li><a href=”{path=paradise_calling/rss_2.0}”>RSS 2.0</a></li>

and also included <link rel=“alternate” type=“application/rss+xml” title=“RSS” href=”{path=paradise_calling/rss_2.0}” /> on the header
