Visit our site - Guide to finnish nature

Finally i am close to go and start to tell about finnish nature in english also. The site is pretty much ready and live.

I was hoping that you could send me some feedback and maybe tips what you would expect from site that is ment to share information about Finland, its nature and naturephotographers.

Its very important to me that someone that doesnt live here at Finland could tell what he/she might want to know and read, thanks!

As you see, there is nothing to read yet but it will come…it will come as soon as i start to build it.

PS. As i said, googlemaps arent finished and some of areas are still under dev… but graphics are pretty “done deal”. Or tomorrow i get new brainstorm and make something in other way =)

Some of those pictures are absolutely amazing! I have just come back from a trip around Norway, Sweden and Denmark (didn’t get time to go to Finland but its next on my list!). The sites I used to most when I was planning my trip had pages like:

10 things you must see when visiting Finland
10 things you must do… etc.

They are always handy as you never get time to do everything on holiday, yet you want to see the best things!

The site looks great though nice and clean and easy to navigate. I love the Google maps icons - although could do with a legend to explain what each one is, but you said it was in development so I’m sure you thought of that already.

Give us an update when its got lots of content and I’ll start planning my next holiday.

Just as a little note some of the English could be corrected but its only a small thing and I know you haven’t finished the content yet!

You ment that those icons, that they arent in english, is that what you ment? If so, yes i know that they are only in finnish atm. and will be in english also. And i put legends to tell what they mean and so on.

Yeah thats what I meant, the maps looks great in Finnish and I’m sure they’ll be even better in English when I can understand them! I was just enjoying looking at the pictures!

Well it never gets finished, only bigger with entries and so on, heh,  but i’ll let ya know in this thread when there is the “starting pack” and basics working and readable.
