stand alone entry form with date

Not sure if this is already implemented, if so could someone tell me how this can be done?

It would be nice to have in the stand alone entry form, when entering in a date field have a calendar preview of the date as you can in the control panel.

In the SAEF pretty much anything goes: you write the code, so there are not many limits smile
You can certainly use a javascript calendar of sorts, I have used this one with some suceess in the past.

I’m running into a bit of an issue with SAEF Calendar. While it populates the field in the SAEF form just fine, when I login to EE there is no value showing up. I added the necessary code as referenced by the instructions for the onkeyup. Any thoughts of what to check?
