I need to create a weblog where each entry has a photo. For example its a portfolio weblog. What type of custom weblog field should I use to create a weblog like this?

This will be for an end user that doesn’t know HTML. So I would like to keep it as simple as possible, any suggestions?

It somewhat depends on how you’re going to want to use that image but generally it’s a custom text input field formatted as none. The client just uses the file upload when publishing and inserts the image url into this field. How it is displayed is up to how/where you use that field in your templates.

I will give that a try. I just wish there was an easier way to complete this. Maybe EE 2.0 will have a image field option. “Wishful Thinking”

What do you perceive as being difficult about it?

The end user has to place the tag in the correct spot.

They have to place text in certain spots also {title. summary, body, etc) so the concept shouldn’t be too difficult for them I wouldn’t think.
