I am NEW to EE. I was requested to upgrade from 1.5.2 to 1.6.4. Read instructions RE “Updating from a Previous Version of EE.” The upgrade instructions and additional notes did NOT mention stopping the upgrade in between versions. I.e., the wizard ran and reported that it had upgraded to 1.6, then asked if I wanted to upgrade to 1.6.1, etc.
I upgraded to 1.6.4, received a successful message but I was not able to sign on. I copied back the Index & config file. I was able to get in - but the app reports mixed areas of upgrades, some areas report 1.6.4, and other areas report 1.5.2.
I was able to update/upgrade the Discussion Forum Module - and it reports 2.1.0, however, some of it’s features appear and disappear.
Frequently when I go into the app I have to F5 for it to read files & features.
Do you recommend that I just start all over again?
PLEASE HELP THIS FRESHMAN!
