I don’t even know if curly quote direction is decided in EE so I’m hesitant to call this a bug report, but I’m having an issue where if I try to put quotes around link text such as:

or if I make link text possessive e.g.

the curly quotes face the wrong direction. An example would be at this article I just posted. As you can see the apostrophe in “Ryuichi Honda’s” is backwards.

I replicate on my site- formatting set to xhtml.  Try even when I dropped the double quotes.  I… don’t think it’s intended behavior, so would likely qualify as a bug.  (It even seems vaguely familiar, but a quick search of the bug forum didn’t reveal anything.)
