Hi,

I finally achieved (having bought ee 2 years ago LOL ) to move my blog on http://www.ramgad.com completely too expression engine.

The video from Ryan Irelan (http://www.ryanirelan.com) were very helpful to better understand the logic behind the curtain. I bought solspace’s tag module as I believe this adds good extra functionality for my readers, and the software is not too expensive, at least worth the money.

It was quite a pain to test layout in all browsers. I’m developing on a Mac and it seems that - testing with
http://browsershots.org shows that everything might work as well with Microsoft Internet Explorer. But I’m really looking forward if someone could drop me a note in case you encounter some issues with iE5-8.

So far I’m quite happy as I could migrate all functions (and to some extend even optimize them), but what I’m missing is in integration of services like (websnapr.com). There are modules for wordpress, joomla, drupal etc, but I did not find anything for ee (even though it’s obviously used in these pages?!?). I do not want to add websnapr code manually to all my links.

I’m looking forward to reading your comments, suggestions and optimization potentials you do see.

Cheers
jmu

Everything appears to be working on IE7 in Vista - nice looking color scheme.

Thx for your kind words! Appreciated pretty much. So I hope users with IE 5.x will not encounter any issues either - but I still have my doubts wink

thank you, for whoever (anonymous email) send me the email, telling me that my RSS feed did not work. Should be fixed now. Still completely impressed by expressionengine.com and wondering why I did not use it immediately after having bought it grin

Thanks Christopher, was btw. not too complicate. Did not even use Photoshop to design it. Just www.pixelmator.com and playing around a little bit with the sharpening filter ... Surprisingly enough a quite simple exercise.
